Magong Guanyin Buddhist Temple

Located on the seashore west of the City Wall of Magong, the Temple was established in 1696 to worship Guanyin Buddha, with its east room being the Dragon Goddess Temple.  Guanyin Buddhist Temple was ruined during the Ching-France Battle, and in 1959, after consequent reconstructions, it was finally completed as it currently appears.  The Temple was constructed to signify simplicity and solemnity, and appears the best destination for people to watch the sunset in ShiYu every evening.
