There is a reef rock protruding from the sea which is in the shape of an expecting woman. Legend has it that on the island there once lived a sweet couple. One day, the husband went out fishing and then died at sea. Unable to bear the sorrow, the wife jumped into the sea to commit suicide. After several years, the rock near the coast miraculously formed into the shape of an expecting woman. That is the origin of the name “Waiting-husband Reef.”
